**Objects:** TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORY AND HERITAGE OF NEW BRIGHTON AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, IN PARTICULAR BY:• PROVIDING ACCESS TO AN HISTORICAL ARCHIVE COMPRISING EXHIBITS, OBJECTS, PHOTOGRAPHS AND DOCUMENTS WHICH RELATE TO THE SOCIAL, ECONOMIC AND CULTURAL HISTORY OF NEW BRIGHTON AND THE SURROUNDING AREA;• ARRANGING TALKS ON LOCAL HISTORY;• PROVIDING GUIDED HISTORICAL WALKS;• PROVIDING BOOKLETS ON HISTORICAL TOPICS; AND• ARRANGING VISITS TO SITES OF HISTORICAL INTEREST.

**Activities:** To preserve, maintain and house permanent historical archive of New Brighton, in documentary, photographic or any other appropriate medium. To collect relevant artefacts.To record changes in the current social history of New Brighton for future generations.To stimulate interest in the history of New Brighton.
