Each<br>Dinner ran with its own separate organising<br>team and volunteers. We were able to<br>provide 21 Christmas Dinners in South<br>London and 22 in Ealing.  SLXD and Ealing<br>also gifted presents, food hampers,<br>handmade quilts, hand knitted items and gift<br>vouchers to our guests and a further 3<br>people who couldn’t attend the day, an<br>increase of 6 on 40 in 2021.<br>SLXD Organising Team had 6 members.<br>We were supported by 15 further volunteers<br>on Christmas Eve.  Our Christmas Day hosts<br>numbered 11, 3 of who were also on the<br>Organising Team.<br>Ealing Organising Team had 5 members,<br>with a further 8 volunteers to support on<br>Christmas Day.|



## **Financial Review** 

|Review of the charity’s<br>financial position at the end<br>of the period|Para 1.21|During the year we raised an amazing<br>£14,739 (2021: £16,020), including grants of<br>£2,000 from Gold from the Stone<br>Foundation, £3,000 from The London Mark<br>Benevolent Fund and £500 from Tesco<br>Community Grant, with a further £3,187<br>raised through Gift Aid. SLXD raised<br>£12,413 (2021: £10,600) as Unrestricted<br>income for our South London Dinner and<br>Ealing raised £2,326 (2021:£5,420) recorded<br>as Restricted income, as it was raised<br>specifically for the Ealing Dinner.<br>Across both dinners we spent in total<br>£13,043 (2021: £12,360) on gifts, food<br>hampers, Christmas dinner and minimal<br>running costs. Of this total, unrestricted<br>expenditure for South London was £11,110<br>(2021: £10,730) and for Ealing Dinner<br>recorded as Restricted the expenditure was<br>£1,933 (2021: £1,630). Ealing was given the<br>venue, food and many gifts for free.<br>We finished the year with a small surplus of<br>£1,696 (2021: deficit of £130) broken down<br>as £1,304 (2021: deficit of £130) unrestricted<br>income funds and £392 (2021: £3,790)<br>restricted income funds.  This bring our total<br>reserve to £8,489 (2021: £6,793) split<br>between Ealing as restricted income funds of<br>£4,182 (2021: £3,790) and unrestricted<br>income funds for South London of<br>£4,307(2021: £3,003).|
