1.1 Reporting period
These are the first financial statements of the CIO and o)ver period from the charty's incorporation on
27th July 2021 unts'l its accounting pericxy end.

The financial statements have been p￿Pared in accordance with the Charit￿$ goveming document. the
Charities Act 2011. FRS 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland.

The financial slalem6nts are prepared in sterling, which is the functional eurrency of the charity. Monatary
amounts in these finanual statements are rounded lo the nearest £.
The finanual statements have been prepared under ihe hiSt￿lCa1 r#)st o)nvention. The principal accounting
poIicAes adopied are set oul below.
1.3 Golng concern
At the time ol approving the finanaal statements, the trustees have a reasonable expectation that the charity
has adequate resources to o)ntsnue in operational existence for the loreseeable lulure. Thus the trustees
continue to adopt the going c￿ncern basis of accountsng in preparing Ihe financial sialements.
1.4 Charltabl• funds

Restricted funds are subjecl to specific conditions by donors as io how they may be used. The purposes and
uses of the restricted lunds are set out in the notes io Ihe financial statements.
Endowment funds are subject to speufic conditions by dC￿orS that the capital must be mainiained by the
charity.
1.5 Income
Incorne is recognised when the charity is legally entiued to it after 8ny p8rft)rm8nc8 conditions have b88n m8t,
the amounts can b8 m8asured r8liably. and il is probable that inu)m8 VAII b8 received.
Cash donaty'ons are recognised on r￿elp1. Other donations are re(x)gnised once the charity has been notified
of the donation, un1955 performance o¢)ndrt￿s require deferral of the amounl. Income tax rgcovgrable in
relation to donations received under G[ft￿d or deeds of covenant is recogni5ed at the tim8 of the donab"on.

the obligation can be measured reliably.
Expenditure is clas5ffied by activity. The cosls of each aclivity are made up of the total of direct costs and
sh8r8d costs, including 5LJPPOrt costs inv(Aved in undert8king each 8Ctivity. Direct costs attributab18 10 8 5ingl8
adivity ar$ allocated directly to thal ac￿Vity. Shared costs which conliibute to rnore than one activity and
support costs whid) ar* not attributablè to a single acbvily are apwrtioned betwèen those activitiès on a basis
consistent with the usè of resources. Central staff costs are allocatad on thè basis ol ts'ma spènt, and
depreciation charges are allocated on Ihe porbon of the asset's use.
1.7 Cash and eash •qul¥alènt$
Cash and cash equivalents include cash in hand. deposits held at call with banks, other short-temi liquid
investrnents with original maturilies of three months ￿ less, and bank overdrafts. Bank overdraft8 are shown
within borrowing5 in currenl liabilities.

The charity has elected to apply the provisions of Section 11 'Basic Financlal Instruments, and Section 12
'other Financial Instruments Issues. of FRS 102 10 al ol its financjal instruments.

1.1 Reporting period
These are the first financial statements of the CIO and o)ver period from the charty's incorporation on
27th July 2021 unts'l its accounting pericxy end.

The financial statements have been p￿Pared in accordance with the Charit￿$ goveming document. the
Charities Act 2011. FRS 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland.

The financial slalem6nts are prepared in sterling, which is the functional eurrency of the charity. Monatary
amounts in these finanual statements are rounded lo the nearest £.
The finanual statements have been prepared under ihe hiSt￿lCa1 r#)st o)nvention. The principal accounting
poIicAes adopied are set oul below.
1.3 Golng concern
At the time ol approving the finanaal statements, the trustees have a reasonable expectation that the charity
has adequate resources to o)ntsnue in operational existence for the loreseeable lulure. Thus the trustees
continue to adopt the going c￿ncern basis of accountsng in preparing Ihe financial sialements.
1.4 Charltabl• funds

Restricted funds are subjecl to specific conditions by donors as io how they may be used. The purposes and
uses of the restricted lunds are set out in the notes io Ihe financial statements.
Endowment funds are subject to speufic conditions by dC￿orS that the capital must be mainiained by the
charity.
1.5 Income
Incorne is recognised when the charity is legally entiued to it after 8ny p8rft)rm8nc8 conditions have b88n m8t,
the amounts can b8 m8asured r8liably. and il is probable that inu)m8 VAII b8 received.
Cash donaty'ons are recognised on r￿elp1. Other donations are re(x)gnised once the charity has been notified
of the donation, un1955 performance o¢)ndrt￿s require deferral of the amounl. Income tax rgcovgrable in
relation to donations received under G[ft￿d or deeds of covenant is recogni5ed at the tim8 of the donab"on.

third party, it is probable that a transfer of economic benefits will be required in settlement, and the amount ol
the obligation can be measured reliably.
Expenditure is clas5ffied by activity. The cosls of each aclivity are made up of the total of direct costs and
sh8r8d costs, including 5LJPPOrt costs inv(Aved in undert8king each 8Ctivity. Direct costs attributab18 10 8 5ingl8
adivity ar$ allocated directly to thal ac￿Vity. Shared costs which conliibute to rnore than one activity and
support costs whid) ar* not attributablè to a single acbvily are apwrtioned betwèen those activitiès on a basis
consistent with the usè of resources. Central staff costs are allocatad on thè basis ol ts'ma spènt, and
depreciation charges are allocated on Ihe porbon of the asset's use.
1.7 Cash and eash •qul¥alènt$
Cash and cash equivalents include cash in hand. deposits held at call with banks, other short-temi liquid
investrnents with original maturilies of three months ￿ less, and bank overdrafts. Bank overdraft8 are shown
within borrowing5 in currenl liabilities.
1.8 Flnanelal Instrumènts
The charity has elected to apply the provisions of Section 11 'Basic Financlal Instruments, and Section 12
'other Financial Instruments Issues. of FRS 102 10 al ol its financjal instruments.

Basic financial liabilities. including creditors and bank loans are initially recognised at transaction price unless

Trade creditors are obligations to pay for gcths or services tha¢ have been acquired in the ordinary course ol
