Achievements and Performance
| SORP reference | ||
|---|---|---|
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | The Foundation has had another successful year in achieving it’s key objectives and continues to play an important role in the local and wider community in: 1. Loaning instruments to young students who would find it financially difficult to access such instruments. To this end the Foundation purchased a number of higher quality instruments and part funded this through the sale of lower quality instruments. Currently 12 students have borrowed instruments from the Foundation. 2. Providing financial assistance in the form of grants to assist those students who would financially struggle to continue to pursue their musical education. During the year, grants were made to seven deserving young students, and 3. Allowing students to participate in musical concerts in support of professional musicians to grow their confidence and musical knowledge. |
