The objects of the charity are to relieve

those seeking or granted refugee status (and
the dependents thereof) from in particular (but
not exclusively) Saudi Arabia and other

The advancement of education and
training so as to advance them in life and assist
them to adapt within a new community,
including (without limitation) by the provision
of grants to enable access to education or
training;

The provision of information, legal
advice and other advice;

The relief of financial hardship
particularly but without limitation by the
provision of grants, facilities, food, items and
other support; and
1.4
The relief of unemployment by the
provision of vocational and skills training,

Appointment and automatic
retirement of Trustees
9.1
Any person who is willing to act as a
Trustee, and who would not be disqualified
from acting under the provisions of clause 11,
may be appointed to be a Trustee by a decision
of the Trustees.
9.2
Automatic retirement
9.2.1
Each Trustee shall retire from office at
the third Annual Retirement Meeting following
the commencement of his or her term of
office. The retirement takes effect at the
conclusion of the meeting.
9.2.2
The Annual Retirement Meeting shall
be the meeting of the Trustees at which the
accounts of the Charity are adopted.
9.3
Maximum term
Retiring Trustees may be reappointed but a
Trustee who has served for three consecutive
terms of office must take a break from office
and may not be reappointed until the earlier
of:
9.3.1
the anniversary of the commencement
of his or her break from office; and
9.3.2
the Annual Retirement Meeting
following the Annual Retirement Meeting at
which his or her break from office commenced.
9.4
If the retirement of a Trustee under
clause 9.2 causes the number of Trustees to fall
below that set out in clause 8.3.1 then the
retiring Trustee shall remain in office until a
new appointment is made.
10.

The Trustees will make available to each new
Trustee, on or before his or her first
appointment:
10.1
a copy of this constitution and any
amendments made to it; and
10.2
a copy of the Charity's latest trustees'
annual report and statement of accounts.
