The Charity went through the process of registering the charity, selecting Trustees and a Core Group who could work together to plan re-settlement of a refugee family in our area via Community Sponsorship. However, for the time being the intended activities became subsumed by changes in the international sphere, in parkncular the armed conflict in Ukraine, leading to the focus of work shifting to the undertakings of the Epsom Refugee Network operating under the charity The Good Company (Epsoml. The trustees have agreed to keep the charity registered rather than wind it up and future changes to the refugee landscape may justify its meaningful reactivation at short notice.
