Inspiration Incubator (ts 'Charity') is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO)
founded on 21 July 2021 and govemed by lis Foundat'on Consts'tution, as amended
on 18 January 2022. The Chanty provides financiNJ to charrtable projects that meet
rts objects'ves an￿ere in ts world.
In order to further the Chanty's charitable purposes and ensure that grants awarded
are for the public benefit. the trustees regularly review and agree its grant-making
pollcy.

The wrpose of Inwration Ir￿￿batOr is the advan￿rnent of such objects or purposes
which are exdusively charitable according to the law of England and Wales in any part
of the world.
The Charity was established by Maximilian Regner-Bleyleben and Nicole Barbery
Regner-Bleyleben. who are the thariiys principal donors. The Chanty also
occaslon81ty receives donations from third partses.
The Charity provtdes grants and other forms of financial support to organisats'ons
(registered charities, non-profit organisations. Pjocial enterprises and other non-
charities) and individuals. In particular. the chanty seeks to support grdss-roots
initiatives where its fvnding will have the greatest impac( includirYJ where there are
nding gaps that other charities do rK*t suppor( such as core costs.
hile the trustees will from time to trne identify parti￿18r areas of focus, the Charity
is being estsblished Imth general charitable purposes to enable the Charity to have
maxmum flexibility in tems of the propcts it can fuThJ and Ihe aclivitses it can pursue.
The charity trustees have complied with the duty in section 4 of the 2006 Act to have
due regard to guidance on public b8nèfit published by the commission.

Th8 trustees present their report with 1he financial statern￿ts of the Chanty for
year ended 31 August 2023.
The accounts (financial ststements) have been prepared in accordance with the
ststement of Recommended Practice.. Accounb'ng and ReportirYJ by Charities
preparing their accounts in accordance the Finanaal Reporting Standar
applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) issued in October 2019 arKI
the Financial Reporting Stsndard applicable in the United Kingdom and Republic of
Ireland {FRS 102) and the Charities Act 2011 and UK Generally Accepted Practi￿ as

Th8 accounts (financial ststements) have been prepared to giv8 a 'true and fair, view
and have departed from the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulats'ons 2008 only
to the extent required to provide a 'true and fair view.. This deparbjre has involvod
following Accounting and Reporting by Charities.. Statement of RecoMmend￿j
Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the
Financial Reporting Stsndard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland {FRS 102)
issued in October 2019 rather than ts Accounting and ReportÉng by Charits'es:
Statement of Recommended Practi(x effedive 1 April 2005 which has since been
thdrawn.
Fundralslng
During the year, ts Charity raised a totsl of £24.608. It spent £29,480 on charitable
activits'es.
Of the amount raised, £24,000 was provided by the Charity's founders and is
unrestricted, vthile £608 was provKled by indNKlual donors for the purpose of forest
conseprfation projects in Bolivia and Central Afn'can Republic. These funds will go
directly to the local charitable organisats'ons managing the projects on the ground.

In the accounting year ended 31 August 2023, the Charity had income of £56,078, including Gift Aid receipts from HMRC in the amount of £31,458, and incurred expenditures of £30,494. Administrative costs were £1,014. 

## **Reserves Policy** 

Inspiration Incubator ended the year with £31,977 in reserves, of which £31,164 is unrestricted. At the year end, the Charity had sufficient reserves to cover any administrative costs in the short term.
