Achievements and Performance
| SORP reference | ||
|---|---|---|
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | The main achievement of the charity is to provide early pre-school Welsh education to 2.5 – 4 year olds, through the service of Cylch Meithrin. Cylch Meithrin Cerrigydrudion provides playgroup sessions 4 times a week during term time. The Cylch is a provider of early education, and it provides this exclusively through the medium of Welsh. The Cylch Meithrin is accessible for all children between 2.5 and 4 years in the Cerrigydrudion and outlying areas and these children, and their families, therefore are the beneficiaries of this charity. The Cylch benefitted from grant funding to purchase an interactive whiteboard which has been very beneficial for the children. Cylch has also received grant funding towards a new toilet and basin next to the classroom making it much more accessible to the young children. |
