Ob ectives and activities
To advance education in Ihe arts for the public benefit among
economically and S￿allY disadvantaged thildren primary school Ghlldren
in Gloucestershire, Monmouthshire and neighbouring counties by
providing them with access to free creative arts based activities including
visual arts (drawing. painling. sculpture and crafts), drama, dance, music,
singing and cookery vthere their a￿$$ to such a¢tivities would ordinarily
be limited and to develop their S￿lIS and interests In the arts.

Our pilot teaching year was launched on 1 September 2023 and during
yle 31 August 2024 we hosted 3 schcrt)Is from inn8r city Newport. with 48
children benefrting from 12 teaching days with positive feedback received
frcim all 3 schooL8 on how much the children benefited from attending the
Kidzart creative days.
Ouring our pilot year we ran teaching days for Years 3* of pdmary
school age children. the days comprised of a mix of art and clay work in
the moming and music and perfoming arts in the afternoon.
The children a￿ provided with breakfast when they get to the art centre
as well as lunch and snacks being provided throughout the day.
We also cover the cost of transport for the children to and from school to
the art centre to help facilitste their visits.
We rounded this off with an exhibition of the children's work held belween
14 July ￿ryth several of the children and their parents attending.
