|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|The Charity Launched in July 2021 and<br>started trading as a childcare provider in<br>September 2021.<br>The area in which the charity trades in is an<br>area of deprivation on the WDI and many<br>parents rely on affordable childcare to be<br>able to return to work or training.<br>The Charity launched in the middle of the<br>Covid pandemic and many parents were<br>not in a position to take advantage of out of<br>school childcare, however the trustees<br>have worked hard to start making the<br>charity sustainable. All children in the local<br>area are welcome to attend the childcare<br>club and do not need to attend the school<br>the club is linked to.  It is a fully inclusive<br>childcare club with permission to use the to<br>the schools wheelchair access and<br>facilities.  The children have a safe<br>environment to play with other children and<br>to start to rebuild their social interactions<br>after covid.<br>The Charity has close links with the school<br>it is linked to and regularly work together to<br>build the afterschool provision.<br>The main ethos of the Charity is to provide<br>experiences for the children that they would<br>not necessarily have at home such as<br>dance lessons, a trip to the local Christmas<br>tree farm, Gymnastics and Bush Skills.|

## **Financial Review**

|Description of the assets<br>held in this capacity|In March 2022, St Anthonys School were success in being<br>awarded a grant from Sport Wales for £6180 to be used to<br>procure sporting activities for the children of the school.<br>The management of the Grant has been delegated Clwb<br>Hapus.  The Grant is to encourage children to take part in<br>more sport and adopt healthier lifestyles.  Flintshire County<br>Council and Sports Wales have agreed to the<br>management of the funds being delegated to Clwb Hapus.<br>The Grant is restricted funds is used only for procuring<br>sporting activities for the children attending the school and<br>costs associated with the activities.  To date the grant has<br>been used for Bush Skills, Taekwondo and Multi-Sports.<br>Parents are charged a fee to attend the activities sessions<br>which are paid directly to Clwb Hapus.<br>At the beginning of the financial year the Charity held<br>£871.51 in it account from Sports Wales.  As at 30<br>November 2023 the remaining total of the fund is £00.00.|
