Structuro & Rocrultmont of Trustees
The charity is governed by a constitution af a Charrt8ble InCorpo￿ted Organisalton whose Ofty
vollng members are ils charity trustees. The Charity was registered on 15 July 2022 and the
constitution was amended in October 2023 to ￿dlIce the minimum number OP trustees to iwa.

Prfnclpal A¢tlvftles and Objecllves
Established in Juty 2021, Noah's Ank Balloon Leukaemia Fund was set-up to fund medical
research ID Ihe areas of paediatric haematology, paedialric oncology and invasive fungal infections
attributable to Ihe high infection risk of blood cancer patients.
The Charity was forn)ed in memory and honouT of Noah Tesselaar, who was diagnosed with
leukaemia in May 2020 and died on the 5th of June 2020 at the age of five.
With Noah al the heart of the fund, tre Charily wants to support the ftrture care, dlagnosts.
treatment of children with blood cancer to help sava children's lives.

The Trustees will only consider fundlng research where in all Cases it is intended that ihe
knowledge acquired from the research will be disseminated to the public and others will ¥ie able to
use or ben8fit from it, and where the research B condu¢ted for the public beneftt OP ChAdref
health and not for commercial gain.
Summary of main achievements:
The MeOic31 Research Council Cenlre for Medical Mycology IMRC CMMI is located at the
university of Exeter. In January 2023 the Trustees visited the laboratories of the MRC CMM in the
Geoffrey Pope Building lo meet the re8e8rch team and tour the facilities. Dr. Alyssa Hudson has
been working with eleven different species of fungi that cause mucormycosis and with a
monoclonal antibody ihal binds to a substance, or antigen. produced by these lungi. Durtllg th(s
financial year, the Charity met its funding commitment paying tyle ba￿aTr￿ ot 148,Q74 an 27
March 2023. Our annual income for the period ending 31 March 2Q23 was £52,896.
The Charity continues to work with Kew Green Prep and INEOS as stra¥8gic partners.
Future plans:
With the first project of the Charity, the Noah's Pink Balloon Fellowship coming to an end, the
TrLSStees aFe in discussions with Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) about a project
invesligating a new DNA edsling technique as a safer, more effective altemative to stem cell
IransplanlatiDn foT childien with genetic disorders. having implications for children with a myriad ol
conditions.

Noah's Flnk B3lk)on Leukaemla Fund h8s no paid staff or property so there is no need to hold a
finarlcial reserve to cater for this.
Operating Results
The accounts have been prepared on a receipts and payments basis and the excess of payments
over receipts for the year ended 31 March 2023 amounted to £64.77412022 surplus: £73,814).
