|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to the<br>circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a whole.|The organisations main achievements this year have been:<br>-<br>All club members wheelchair rugby national governing<br>body memberships paid for by the charity<br>-<br>Entered two teams into national league competition and<br>covered hotel expenses for all players<br>-<br>Entered a team into a European tournament taking place<br>June 2025 (Amsterdam) and covered flight and hotel<br>expenses for the players<br>-<br>Purchased a bespoke rugby wheelchair for one player<br>The above points have all contributed to the charities objectives<br>and have allowed beneficiaries to take part in the sport of<br>wheelchair rugby with decreased financial difficulty.<br>Throughout the year the charity has accommodated two training<br>session per week.<br>The charity has taken part in two competitions operated by the<br>national governing body of wheelchair rugby, allowing all<br>beneficiaries the opportunity to compete in the sport that they<br>practice.<br>During the financial year, the charity also supported its members<br>to participate in an international disability sports tournament held<br>in the Netherlands. This activity directly aligns with our charitable<br>objectives of promoting inclusion and participation in sport for<br>people with disabilities. The expenditure covered tournament<br>entry fees, accommodation, and travel costs for players and<br>support staff. These costs were necessary to enable our members<br>to compete at an appropriate level and further the charity’s aims<br>of improving physical and mental well-being through sport.<br>Fundraising has been good this year, particularly improved by a<br>large investment into the wheelchair rugby from the Mark<br>Benevolent Fund whereby £50,000 has been awarded to each<br>wheelchair rugby club pending an application.<br>The beneficiaries of the club have maintained a healthy lifestyle<br>due to their continued involvement with the sport and the charities<br>work throughout the year.|

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31 March 2025. 

- **Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation **basis of report** of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
