Chairmans Report 31[st] May 2023
I am delighted with how the football club has progressed during the 2022/23 season.
We are now fully operational under charitable status with trustees in place. We also have a fully functioning site that we lease, and we maintain ourselves. The standard to which we do so was recognised by Northumberland Football Association and the club received the Grounds Maintenance Team of the Year award which is testament to the skill and diligence of the volunteers at the football club.
School holiday camps have continued to be a success providing sport activities for children, and we've revamped our Magpies sessions for the youngest of children and moved the sessions indoors at Burradon Primary School to shield them from the winter weather.
We have been given accredited club status by Northumberland FA after checks to ensure everything is ran to the standard it should, which again demonstrates the diligence of the volunteers at the club.
We also held a brilliantly successful Memorial Day in honour of a former player which a football tournament along with stalls, rides and attractions which brought people from the village to site for a great day it, cementing the club at the heart of the community.
It's been a season to be proud of, and that's without even listing the achievements of the amazing kids that we are proud to have at the football club!

Treasurers report for year ending 31[st] May 2023
Alex Smith Treasurer.
This season has been a successful year of reinvestment for the longterm future of Burradon Juniors.
The ongoing yearly contract with CLS to maintain the 4G four times a year and report on the condition to give recommendations on what is required to keep the 4G in the best possible condition although expensive is seen as very important.
The 4G also must have an independent specialist testing done every three years which is also expensive but to fulfil the FA quality regulations and added to the FA register and this was done within this current year.
The grassed areas have undergone extensive reseeding and a consultation with a specialist in grass/weeds treatment will be acted upon in the coming year.
All the above need investment which will eventually make the Grass pitch areas and the 4G better for the long term of the Club which is for the benefit of not only the Football Club and its players but the community in general.
The intention of the Club is to have the best we possibly can for the children within the clubs’ financial boundaries and provide safe playing areas.
The Club has met all its financial commitments during this financial year, and with the dedication of the clubs many volunteers we look forward to the future.
Alex Smith
