The objects of the charity are:

  1. To advance the Islamic religion in the United Kingdom and Worldwide for the benefit of the public by supporting the building of Mosques and Islamic community centres, and funding the publication and distribution of literature to enlighten others about the Islamic religion.

  2. The preventon and relief of poverty in the United Kingdom and Worldwide by providing grants, items, and services to individuals in need and other charities or organisations working to relieve poverty.

Notes to the Accounts

1. Accounting Basis

These accounts have been prepared on a Receipts and Payments basis, in accordance with section 133 of the Charities Act 2011 and the Charity Commission's guidance & the SORP for smaller charities.

2. Nature and Purpose of Funds

All funds held by the charity at year-end are unrestricted.

3. Fundraising Actvites

No fundraising activities were undertaken by the charity during the year ending 30 June 2025.

4. Related Party Transactons

  1. Related Party: Family Eyecare Ltd.

  2. Mahdi foundation had a shareholding of 16.67% of Family Eyecare Ltd. until 1 March 2024, when said shares were subject to a buyback. £4800 has been paid to date, with the remainder still due.

  3. The terms of the transactions with the related party were at arm's length and in line with normal business practices.
