Annual Report for the 2025 Financial Year
Incomindios UK
During the past year, we continued to focus on our mission of promoting and supporting the rights of Indigenous peoples globally, alongside the protection and preservation of the environment. In 2025, our UK activities placed particular emphasis on Indigenous rights education and public awareness-raising, with continued attention to Indigenous women and youth and the role of Indigenous knowledge and leadership in environmental and climate justice.
While we remain small and are growing gradually as a start-up charity, we are pleased to report steady progress across our education, content, and outreach work:
-
We continued to publish educational and research-informed content through the Incomindios UK website, supporting public learning and constructive dialogue on Indigenous rights and environmental justice.
-
We further developed and delivered the Incomindios Human Rights Education Network (IHREN), including online public talks and educational resources, as well as the IHREN School Program, which offers tailored Indigenous rights modules for secondary-level students.
-
We continued to promote Indigenous scholars and their work, including spotlighting our 2025 IncomindiosLippuner Scholar, Yadixa Del Valle (Guna, Panama), and sharing her research and perspectives through UK networks.
-
We delivered and promoted IHREN webinars for UK audiences, featuring Indigenous speakers and educators, and supporting informed dialogue on Indigenous rights, climate justice, and activism.
-
We continued to use our social media platforms to amplify Indigenous voices, community-led issues, and educational initiatives.
-
Our activities continued to be supported through volunteer time and in-kind contributions, allowing us to operate on a low-cost basis consistent with our current scale.
IHREN speaker support and funding (2025)
In 2025, the Incomindios Human Rights Education Network (IHREN) speaker series was supported by a small restricted grant from the British Association for American Studies (BAAS). This funding enables Incomindios UK to provide modest honoraria (£150 per speaker; total £750) to support Indigenous speakers contributing to IHREN webinars. During the 2025 financial year, several IHREN speakers were confirmed and delivered webinars, with additional speakers scheduled to participate later in the year in line with the terms of the grant.
Speakers publicly listed on the Incomindios UK website for the IHREN Speaker Series include:
-
Yadixa Del Valle Guardia (Incomindios-Lippuner Scholar)
-
Venaya Yazzie
-
Hartman Deetz

Financial note
Aside from the restricted BAAS grant designated for IHREN speaker support, Incomindios UK continued to deliver its activities without requiring additional operational funding. We remain mindful of our charitable purposes and ensure that all activities and expenditures align with our governing documents and policies.
As we look to the future, we are encouraged by the continued development of IHREN and our UK education work. We remain committed to strengthening Indigenous rights education, supporting Indigenous voices, and building meaningful dialogue and partnerships in line with our charitable mission.
Sincerely,
Incomindios UK
