**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE PHYSICAL HEALTH AND FITNESS OF PEOPLE WITHLEARNING DIFFICULTIES ON THE ISLE OF WIGHT, AND TO SUPPORT THEIR INCLUSION IN SOCIETY, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS.

**Activities:** Sporting Opportunities Isle of Wight is an independent sports charity offering training and competition opportunities to athletes with learning disabilities on the island. We work closely with Special Olympics Great Britain and access local, regional and national competition opportunities through our affiliation with them.
