Section D Achievements and performance
The community shed was only set up in June 2021. Summary of the main We were originally “Men in Sheds – Winsford” set up by Age UK achievements of the Cheshire. They decided that they would no longer act as the charity during the year sponsor for a number of local “Men in Sheds. The members of Winsford decided that they would form their own charity and continue its work. We have been provided with a location with enough space to accommodate a small number of members to continue our work by “ Changing liver Together “. The location and our power requirements are free to The Community Shed in exchange for our help on various projects that they choose from time to time. We have negotiated for “Age UK Cheshire “ to transfer ownership of the equipment contained in the original “Men in Sheds – Winsford”, which has now been installed in our new location.
All funding for the year ending 31/3/2022 has been raised from membership fees, contributions and the sale of a few assets. All the expenditure has been on building materials to provide a better environment for the members.
Our main achievement is that despite losing our main sponsor we are still here and able to continue to provide help to our members. We are in a better place to build and develop our support in the next few years.
