R.C.C.G GOD'S HOUSE INTERNATIONAL CENTRE YEOVIL Reports and Financial Statements Year ended 31ST MARCH 2022 Trustees Report
Statement from the Chairperson
We are excited to present our first report as a registered charity. God’s House International Centre Yeovil was planted in 2015 but we ran as a branch of our mother church in Bristol until we were strong enough to stand as an independent charity in April 2021.
Yeovil is a small town and churches of our kind are almost non-existent. We are grateful that were able to record the progress and growth that we have seen over the years. Our numbers have grown to just over 60 and we have up to 25 children in our children’s church. It is very rare to have a church with so many young children in Yeovil. This is exciting news because we see continuity in the church through the young couples and children God has brought in.
*The church has also forged a good relationship with the town council and the current Mayor every year. We have been able to invite each Mayor to our services and special end of year Christmas carols where we also donate to the Mayor’s fund.
*We also donate to care homes and charities where our church members work. In this financial year we were able to donate Christmas hampers to the school that houses us for our church services.
*The church also has a football team that interacts with other churches and community organisations in Yeovil. We believe that a church is sent to it’s community hence our effort in getting involved with the community.
*We have also conducted women programs as well as men’s programs to promote peace and goodwill in our homes.
*Our church also has e Street Pastors that help around the streets of Yeovil in the night. As we continue to grow, we will have youth programs to engage young people and support them in the different areas that they need support in.
We are excited to be part of the growth and development of the Christian church in Yeovil. Because of our increasing numbers, we are now looking for a bigger venue for our meetings. We would be grateful to be pointed in the right direction in this area.
The Chairperson would like to thank the trustees and volunteers continue to work tirelessly to ensure the charity’s services are credible and in keeping with the strategic goals as stated in the Bible, trust deed, church vision. We are looking forward to more growth and impact in our city in 2023.

Independent Examiner's report to the Trustees
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity for the above period.
Responsibilities and basis of report:
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examiner's statement:
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
-
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or
-
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
-
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
