During 2023 the trustees continued to develop the charity's plans to support communities living near mining operations. The charity remained unable to commence fundraising due to the continued absence of suitable banking arrangements. The trustees therefore continued to focus on planning and voluntary work. Consequently, the charity had no income, expenditure or assets during the year. |

Para 1.20 | The trustees continued to promote the charity's objectives of reducing mercury use in artisanal and small-scale gold mining communities. The laboratory separators previously obtained for on-site separation techniques remained available for deployment to mining communities in the Ivory Coast as part of the charity's planned mercury reduction programme. During the year the trustees also continued planning future education and community health initiatives. These activities were undertaken on a voluntary basis and did not involve any financial transactions |
