## **service:**

Black Lives Mentored is a charity dedicated to improving the mental health of individuals in the Black Minority Ethnic (BME) community both in the UK. Our goal is to counteract the negative effects of disadvantage due to ethnic background by fostering meaningful, honest, and reflective conversations through "learning circles."

Founded on Christian principles, Black Lives Mentored offers a holistic mentoring service with over 50 years of combined experience from the founding directors and executive board in mental health. Our aim is for clients to emerge from their mentoring sessions as well-adjusted and whole individuals. We provide a nurturing environment where vulnerable individuals can reflect on their challenging past experiences and current issues. Through this process, clients are encouraged to develop a true sense of purpose and perspective in their lives. We hope that, following their sessions, individuals will become positive, responsible, and responsive contributors to society. The stories of hope we see every day are truly compelling.

By leveraging a network of high-calibre psychiatrists, psychologists, teachers, nurses, social workers, and influential mentors from various sectors of civic society, Black Lives Mentored creates a robust ecosystem of support. We are committed to providing first-class mentorship and support to individuals within the BME community.
