Explanation letter on behalf of trustees.
I am writing this letter to go alongside the annual return submitted for the above charity to further explain the lack of reporting and to be used alongside the bank account details I have submitted. As is obvious the bank statement does not show the financial period requested for. This is because we did not have a bank account associated with this charity until the 23[rd] March 2024. The CIO was registered with the commission in name only in order to allow the start of a changeover from our current trading charity which is Old Newton Playgroup, trading as Old Newton Under Fives.
As of such there has been no activity under the charity with no funds received for this annual return. The Charity has now started to run as of July 2024 and a full report with financials will be posted for this next financial year.
