## **Young Emerging Leaders** **Transforming nations… one millennial at a time** **Charity Number: 1194886** **Annual Report 2023** 2023 year has been a year of ongoing change and continuous improvement for Young Emerging Leaders as we continue to pursue and fulfil our mandate of transforming the leadership potential of millennials through Christ-centred high-quality leadership mentoring and training. Due to circumstances outside our control, we relocated our administrative offices from Hanger Lane to new premises in Brentford. Our leadership team, working with our part-time administration staff continued to actively deliver our services to the YEL membership and hundreds of other participants at our events. We undertook a range of seminars, Instagram Live sessions and practical mentoring sessions that strengthened the leadership capabilities of YEL members. Some of the topics we explored during the year include the following: - The Power of New Beginnings. - Positioning for High Impact Leadership. - The Leaders' Secret. - Exploring Leadership and Mentoring. - The Leader's Pathways - Lessons, Processes & Convergence. We also held weekly meetings focussed on strengthening the spiritual and mental wellbeing of the YEL membership. This is in addition to maintaining our cordial collaboration with our YEL family in Ghana. The year witnessed the induction of several new members, committed to learning and growing into more effective, competent, courageous, spiritually astute leaders in their different spheres of endeavours. We also introduced our new leadership development curriculum and membership handbook, that provides a brief overview of the excellent opportunities that YEL offers to any millennial-aged leader keen to maximise their leadership potential.
