**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS AND TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE GOOD HEALTH OF THOSE AFFECTED BY DEMENTIA AND THEIR CARERS, IN THE NG16 AND SURROUNDING AREAS, BY THE PROVISION OF A REGULAR MEMORY CAFÉ, INFORMATION AND SUPPORT, PLANNED ACTIVITIES, EVENTS AND TRIPS OUT, ALONGSIDE VIRTUAL SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES AND TO ENGAGE WITH THE WIDER COMMUNITY TO ACTIVELY ENCOURAGE KINDNESS, TOLERANCE AND A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF DEMENTIA.NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT(SCOTLAND)ACT2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008].

**Activities:** To relieve the needs and to preserve and protect the good health of those affected by dementia and their carers in the NG16 and surrounding areas, by the provision of a regular Memory Cafe, planned activities, events and trips out alongside virtual suppor and activities and to engage with the wider community to actively encorage kindness, tolerance and a better understanding of dementia
