**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO:1. TO PROMOTE THE CRAFT OF WOODTURNING FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY AND IN DOING SO RAISE THE APPRECIATION OF THE CREATIVITY, SKILL AND HERITAGE OF WOODTURNING.2. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE COMMUNITY IN THE CRAFT AND SKILL OF WOODTURNING.

**Activities:** Dorset Woodturners Association promotes the art and craft of woodturning. This is achieved through demonstrations and discussion by professional turners and our own members. Participants can learn techniques through instruction and discussion with other members. Networking is encouraged, promoting of fellowship among woodturners at all levels of ability, particularly during the refreshment break
