For the Year Ending 31/03/2025
Herts Inclusive Sports Initiative (HISI) charity purposes are to:
Provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason on their youth, age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving their conditions of life.
Promote community participation in healthy recreation.
Relieve the needs of those living with a learning, physical or sensory disability, emotional behaviour or mental health by providing access to local programmes and groups within their local community.
Promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society.
The Trustees’ have awarded Bursary’s to four individuals to support either their training for their sport, or to help them achieve a coach education qualification which will in turn help them to provide greater opportunities for people to participate in their sport. Two Grant’s were awarded to Clubs which will enable them to support provide more activities and programmes for the members who attend the clubs.
Amy Bowman Archery Club organised a Fun Archery Session and raised £305.00 and chose Herts Inclusive Sports Initiative as the charity they wished to support. We thank them very much for thinking of our charity.
