Constitution agreed and dated 14" June 2021.
The objertive of the Coach House Church is to advance the Chr15tian rel8ion primarity, bLrt not
exclusively. in Greater Manchesler and surrounding areas, in actordance with Its doctrlnal basis.
The church's prlmary activit￿$ indude Sunday meetings. incorporatlng Sunday School and creche
facilities for child￿n. as well as weekty communlty groups.
The church operates weekly sessions for Parent/Carer and Toddler (Little Sparks) which 15 open to
the local communty-
The church premises are also used to host weekly TinyTalY Sessions, a group teachin8
parentlbaby/child comrnunicatfon vla sign lan8ua8e. Thts is o national o￿anIsation admlnlstered by
local franchise. The church is used for three dFfferent age groups per week with a small rental
Income accrued.
The Trustees of Coach House Church have undergone Tmstee tralning and have regard for the
Charities Commission 8uidance on public benefrt.
At the end of the current reportin8 period. the Trustees have remalned In poslth)n wtth no changes.
The number of Trustees exceeds the mlnirnum number requlred by the constitutlon.
The CIO employs a Pastor and all other work is carrled volunteers.

The church benefits the community with spirrtuèl and mental wellbein& throu8h support and
fellowship.
Children's work5 provide safe Spaces for personal development and mentsl wellbeing.
TinyTalk restarted its weekly sessions after COVID with increasing numbe￿.

Improvements have been made to the facillties. includlng:
Installation of full double 8lazlng to existing buildings to complete full insulatlon.
Improved security door with triple locks to ground floor side of building.

Income in the perbod to date was £47.813.Ixi and expendfture was £51.850.00
Accounts were vertfied and slgned off by Trustees in June 2023
Income Is tomprised mainly frorn donations and as%xiated Gift Ald contrlbutlons. Income for this
period exludes Gift Aid pa￿ents due.
The ao benefits from a reliable and regular income St￿am. Its overheads are managed carefully.
Day to day operation of the Trust does not therefore rely on Swdnificant tash reserve5. The Trustees
consider that a cash reserve equlvalent to a￿ut six month's overheads is sufficient. It therefore
seeks to avoid cash reserves redLtcing to below £18,(IXJ. If the reserves were to fall below this ftgure,
the Trustees would review and tske approprtate action to deal with the situation.
The CIO has been able to maintain this level of ￿serve during the financlal year and wlll continue to
do 50 by carefvI￿ monltorin8 income and expenditure.
There was a sltght deficlt to report in thls financial period which was experted and budgeted.
The Trustees have implemented a budget for the financial year to come and will monitor Income and
expendr(UTe against this budget

Independent Examination of the Coach House Church Accounts. 

(Unqualified report for a non- company charity receipts and payments accounts) with a gross income of less than £250,000 in the financial year ending 31/12/2022. 

## **Independent examiners report to the trustees of the Coach House Church.** 

Please find attached my report to the trustees, on my examination of the Coach House Church accounts for the financial year ending 31st December 2022. 

## **Responsibilities and basis of report.** 

As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trusts accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

## **Independent examiners statement** 

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect: 1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the Act; or 

2. the accounts do not accord to those records. 

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
