with Mudcontrol slabs and MOT in the gateways to make it more safe and easy for the volunteers to access and get through. We have taken on some challenging horses with large vet bills which we have managed to fundraise. Increased our following on social media and managed to rehome. We have successfully rehomed 42 horses this year and started a successful foster agreement. We have also continued with the food bank this year. |
| Fundraising performances | We have been very successful with our fundraising this year, ending the year on a small positive to help with the bills and expenses for next year. Certain fundraising events have been more successful than others – with auctions being very successful. We have been very lucky with supporters donating items/vouchers for us to auction of monthly to raise money to pay for our monthly expenses. We review fundraising in our trustee meetings monthly and plan on diferent events depending what expenses wehave coming up. |
Financial Review
| Review of the Charity’s fnancial position at the end of the period |
HSHR is in a good fnancial place for the beginning of Dec 24, we have some reserves for the expenses for feed and hay through out the month and will continue to fundraise for any additional expenses such as vet bills and any unexpected expenses. |

| Statementexplainingthe policyfor | Now the charityis established,we |
| holding reserves stating why they are held |
would always like a certain amount of reserves held due to the monthly expenses each month which we have every month for the minimum of feed and hay. We do not want to be in debt to any of our suppliers – this is the reason for thekept reserves |
| Amountof reservesheld | £5430 |
| Explanation of any uncertainties about the charity continuing as a going concern. |
The trustees have no current concerns or there are no uncertainties about continuing what Hampshire Spirit Horse Rescue have set out to do. We have a good support from our local suppliers and continued support from our supporters with the fundraising. |
