('ClQ'l with the Charities Commi55ion on 11 June 2021. The CIO wa5 set up wr(h the intention
of transferring the a55ets of the League of Friends of Thame Hospitsl (registered charity
nurnber: 2461361 to the Friends of Thame H05pitsI. After delays before the Government
passed the necessary legislation the Charity Commission approved the merger of the League
of Friends of Thame H05Pital into the Friends ofThame Hospttal on 23 December 2024.

Oxfordshire. OX9 3JT.

to encourage. foster and maintaln the interests of the public in the Communrty
Hospital in Thame-
to provide personal service for and on behalf of patients of this hospttal,.
to provide for patients and Staff. amenities and comforts not provided by the National
Health Service.

Review of Activities
A5 Set out above the Charty Commission approved the merger of the League of Friends of
Thame Hospitsl into the Friends of Thame Hospital on 23 December 2024. These accounts
are the merged accounts of the Friends of Thame Hospttal and the League of Friend5 of
Thame Hospitsl for the twelve months to 31 March 2025.
During the year The Friend< has continued to provide support to the pat￿ntS and staff ofthe
Thame Community Hospitsl and to the wider community through the Servi￿5 of the Thame
CommunFty Car.
Followlng the ￿elpt of a generous legacy of £350.(KQ. the overall surplus for the year was
£339.44412024:1055 £17.935}.
At the end of the year The Friends, held bank balances of £957,521 {2024= £629.466} and net
assets of £957,87412024- £618,430) and is well placed to continue 5UPPOrting the Thame
Community Hospital and Thame Community Car.

My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Dirertlons given by the
Charity Commi55ioners. An examination Include5 a revlew of the accountln8 records kept bv
the charlty and a comparison of the accounts presented wlth those ￿ordS. It a150 includes
conslderatlon of any unusual ttems or dlsclosures In the accounts and seeking explanations
from you as trustees cOn￿rnIng any such matters. The prO￿dureS undertaken do not
provide all the evidence that would be ￿qUfjred in an audlt, and consequently I do not express
an audlt oplnlon on the vlew 8lven by the accounts.

The Frlends of Thame Hospltal was reglstered as a Charltable Incorporated
Organlsatlon ('CIO') wlth the Charltles Commission on 11 June 2021. The CIO was
set up wlth the intention of transferring the assets of the League of Frlends of
Thame Hospital Ireglstered charlty number: 2461361 to the Friends of Thame
Hospltal. After delays before the Government passed the necessary le8151atlon the
Charlty Commlsslon approved the transfer of the League of Frlends of Thame
Hospltal Into the Friends of Thame Hospital on 11 December 2024. The Frlends of
Thame Hospltal was entered onto the Re8lster of Mergers of the Charltles
