## **Constitution** 

The Friends of Thame Hospital was registered as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (‘CIO’) with the Charities Commission on 11 June 2021. The CIO was set up with the intention of transferring the assets of the League of Friends of Thame Hospital (registered charity number: 246136) to the Friends of Thame Hospital. After delays before the Government passed the necessary legislation the Charity Commission approved the transfer of the League of Friends of Thame Hospital into the Friends of Thame Hospital on 11 December 2024. The Friends of Thame Hospital was entered onto the Register of Mergers of the Charities Commission on 23 December 2024 

The official address of the charity is Thame Community Hospital, East Street, Thame, Oxfordshire, OX9 3JT. 

## **Objects of The Friends of Thame Hospital** 

The main objects of the Charity are: 

- to encourage, foster and maintain the interests of the public in the Community Hospital in Thame; 

- to provide personal service for and on behalf of patients of this hospital; 

- to provide for patients and staff, amenities and comforts not provided by the National Health Service.

## **Review of Activities** 

The merger of the two charities was approved after this year end. 

The CIO has been dormant for the current year with no income or expenditure and no assets or liabilities at 31 March 2024.
