Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document
the prevention or relief of poverty in England and Wales by providing: grants, items and services to individuals in need and/or charities, or other organisations .Focusing on families living in an area of social deprivation, who may lack education, employment opportunities, care for vulnerable or dependent elderly relatives, or children with learning difficulties. ‘poverty’ includes households living on less than 60% of median income who go short in some unacceptable way.

Working in partnership with charitable organisations and community groups to co-develop and co-deliver targeted initiatives and programmes to support underserved communities and individuals. This includes aligning black-led organisations to better use resources in an efficient way. Providing opportunities for young people to be exposed to greater opportunities within employment, peer-to-peer networking and mentorship. Supporting community leaders by amplifying their work or message to those considered harder to reach.

We also host Allyship sessions for the wider community to develop a greater understanding and get involved with some elements of culture that they may not understand or have experienced. We help to identify and create targeted support from allies.
