## OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
## **Summary of the purposes of the charity as set out in its governing document**
a) To promote the to promote the efficiency and effectiveness of charities in England and Wales for the benefit of the public, principally through running advertising campaigns to raise awareness, inform about and encourage public donations to such charities; and
b) the promotion of such other purposes being exclusively charitable according to the law of England and Wales.
## **Summary of the main activities in relation to those purposes for the public benefit, in particular, the activities, projects or services identified in the accounts.**
Amounts donated by M Knobil have been used to spend on:
lawyers to formally set-up the charity and devise terms and conditions and data protection predominantly for the website (£5000); and design costs for the logo and website (£700).
Advertising/marketing agency and PR agency partners have been secured (gratis).
A cause has been chosen (Self-harm), and various charities selected and consulted with. One of which has expressed concern with the creative work. A donation of £60 has been received in exchange for a photograph by MK.
## **The trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit.**
## ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE
The charity has yet to launch its first campaign so impact is limited, although a modest amount has been raised for campaigns, and productive dialogue has been undertaken with charities.
## FINANCIAL REVIEW
The charity currently has £60 in the bank.
This is an extremely modest amount, further expenditure eill, for the moment, be covered by donations from M Knobil.
## STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
The charity is governed by a CIO Constitution. It is a CIO. There are currently 3 trustees. In selecting trustees, the charity trustees must have regard to the skills,
knowledge and experience needed for the effective administration of the charity. The Founder may appoint new charity trustees. Any appointment must be made in writing. Each future appointment must be for a term of three years or such other period as is stated on the appointment.
