## **Purposes of the Charity (as per governing document):** 

The charity focuses on promoting equality and diversity for the public benefit in 

England, Wales, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, and Botswana. This includes: 

- (a) Eliminating discrimination on the grounds of disability 

- (b) Advancing education and raising awareness in equality and diversity 

- (c) Promoting activities to foster understanding between people from diverse backgrounds 

- (d) Conducting or commissioning research 

## **Key Targets** 

Our primary objective is to promote and raise awareness of the rights of people with disabilities. 

## **What we did in 2022 - 2023** 

We are on a mission to reshape perspectives and break down barriers related to disability. Together, we challenge injustice, sparking meaningful change through our collective actions. Our strength lies in our boldness—willing to go the extra mile to advocate for improved services and amplify the voices of those frequently overlooked. Centering real experiences at the core of our advocacy and lobbying efforts, we drive tangible change. We are dedicated to ensuring that the narratives of individuals with disabilities are not only acknowledged but become catalysts for genuine transformation.

## **Achievements and Performance** 

In 2023, our commitment to leveraging social media has resulted in significant 



strides for our Online Awareness Campaigns. Building upon prior successes, this year marks a substantial leap forward in using platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to amplify our message and advocate for the rights of individuals with disabilities. Our dedication to creating engaging content, including impactful videos, compelling infographics, and thought-provoking blog posts, remains unwavering. Despite the challenges of the post-pandemic era, our positive momentum fuels our determination to redouble efforts and bring about meaningful change for those often left behind. 

## **Contribution Made by Volunteers** 

Recognising the invaluable contributions of our volunteers, we're delighted to announce the successful recruitment of two marketing volunteers. They bring expertise in delivering impactful social media advertising campaigns across diverse platforms, targeting specific demographics. Their achievements include establishing social channels, expanding our following, and consistently providing engaging content. We extend heartfelt gratitude to our volunteers for their commitment and expertise, significantly contributing to the success of our mission in promoting awareness about the rights of individuals with disabilities.
