We moved into our new premises in the first month of this period and have spent every month since attempting to soLve the planning permission and building dilemmas which folLowed. This unfortunately has prevented us from increasing the numbers of rabbits we can help at one time which is a growing difficulty in the current rescue climate. In October. we held the first ever The National Rabbit Festival which was an resounding success. Our reduced capacity on a locaL level was baLanced out with this huge achievement on the national LeveL. reaching over 1000 peopLe and helping countless rabbits. OveralL we're certainly heading in the right direction.
