We had this period, 12 active cases recorded during the financial year to migrants who needed help with Visa renewal and living expenses. We had also donation from the community by the mean of cash that help to fund with the help needed by the applicants. With the limited funding, the charity remained operational and prepared to serve beneficiaries. |

Para 1.20 | During the financial year 2023-2024, we recorded 12 cases to beneficiaries: - Help with advises to applicant on better living in UK. - Provision of financial support to help with visa renewal cost. - Provision of financial support for emergency gas and electricity top up. - Provision of useful information to applicants directing them to appropriate charities in better position to help. - These provisions were made possible by collecting cash donation from the Ivorian community in UK. - The remaining cash after provision are paid in to the IWFA bank account. IWFA has maintained its operational capacity and improved its infrastructure. This ensures readiness to support families as soon as resources and opportunities allow. The charity's focus on advocacy and signposting has also raised awareness about available resources for immigrant families. |
