## **TOP FIELD LIGHT RAILWAY**
## **Trustees Report for the year ending 31[st] December 2025.**
Although income was down £673 this year, fortunately expenditure was down even further by £1,203 so the previous years deficit of £80 was turned into a surplus of **£449.16** which means we carry forward to 2026 a very healthy **£1,622.66.** As usual portable track events generated the bulk of our income for the year, and donations remain at a reasonable level, but income from Top Field Light Railway was slightly down. The year also saw a milestone reached when the final £1,000 loan repayment was made on the steam loco **Tihany** . Other expenses were £398.16 on maintenance and repainting **Tihany** also £293.30 for repairs and repainting of the portable track trailer which is undergoing a complete overhaul including new brakes and lighting. Some good news is the Trustees are not recommending any increases in subscriptions.
The Chairman of Trustees thanks the club members and fellow Trustees for their support during this year of change and we look forward to a new beginning for the Top Field Light Railway.
