Trustees Annual Report
During this period we were able to start playing in the local leagues to our full capacity. Membership is still a main issue in trying to attract members.
WE are working towards setting top a Junior section and one of our Trustees has created a relationship with a local Primary school to introduce the game to Years 5 and 6 in the early part of 2023 with the intention of continuing that into the summer.
This required the school to purchase a set of Bowls Buddies which allows the game to be played on any surface without the need for an expensive mat normally used for Indoor bowls. Work will continue in the summer to show them the outdoor game. Tis with the hope of bringing their parents into the game. We have also engaged with the Community Association and Youth Forum.
Our members continue to support our own efforts to supplement the work done by the County Council around the green
