the social exclusion of the elderly in the
local area of Coventry.

youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial
hardship or other disadvantage through
the provision of grant funding to provide
relief for those in need of greater access
to health care, health treatment and
education throughout India.

Objective to address social exclusion in
Coventry:
This is year three of running the Lotus
Support Group, and we continue to
maintain our good relationships with
social prescribers.
There are an average of 15 people who
attend the fortnightly events, with a
quorum of 12 who attend.
The Lotus Support Group are;

trustees do not always need to be
present

actively suggesting topics for
discussion, speakers to invite,
activities to engage with

developing deeper friendships
with each other

actively sharing positive
messages on the group whatsapp,
birthdays and other celebrations

been involved with this year include;

May 2023: Diabetes Awareness
Day, organised in collaboration
with the Mercia Lions Club

August 2023: Lotus Group visit to

May 2023 & Jan 2024: Celebration
of two of our Lotus Group
