as a CIO in 03rd June 2021, it benefited from
the goodwill and assets that were built up
since 2017 which were transferred to the
CIO on incorporation.
Our annual light inspired Diwali celebration,
which we deliver by working with partner
organisations brings together the community.
This day the visiting wider community gets to
experience Hindu values, artistic and cultural
heritage, food, music, attire, mythology and
stories as well as highlighting awareness of
and keeping the heritage alive. In 2022 we
extended the program with a Festive Light
and sustainable willow lantern parade made
by community members is a workshop
ahead of the festival day. The lanterns were
available for family and friends to see –
displayed in the community exhibition at
Discover Bucks Museum.
We successfully brought together cross
generational engagement, and encouraged
acceptance and understanding of the
heritage of minority communities of Hindu
religion/ from Indian subcontinent|

_On 30th October 2022 we delivered our_
_annual free family day out - Diwali festival_
_attracting in excess of 700 participants._
_The addition in 2022 saw a_

_businesses to jointly carry out activities of_

_groups of Indian origin for the awareness_
_and education of Hindu arts, culture and_

_such as Art of Living offering meditative_
_practices, practices to engage in mental and_
_physical well being through Yoga practice for_
_all ages, mediation practice in any time of_
_day to induce calm and relaxation._
