The<br>cash at bank that was transferred to the CIO<br>was £11,277.52<br>Our annual light inspired Diwali celebration,<br>which we deliver by working with partner<br>organisations brings together the community.<br>This day, the visiting wider community gets<br>to experience Hindu values, artistic and<br>cultural heritage, food, music, attire,<br>mythology and stories as well as highlighting<br>awareness of and keeping the heritage alive.<br>We also bring together cross generational<br>engagement, encourage acceptance and<br>understanding of the heritage of minority<br>communities of Hindu religion/ from Indian<br>subcontinent|

|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|_On 13th November 2021 we delivered our_<br>_annual free family day out - Diwali festival_<br>_attracting close to 1000 participants._<br>_This was at a time when social distancing_<br>_was still being observed, therefore we_<br>_worked closely with our partner_<br>_organisations to ensure visitor safety._<br>_We did this through running a repeating_<br>_program that ensured capacity of the venue_<br>_(both indoors and outdoors) was observed_<br>_with social distance in mind._<br>_Fortunately we had dry weather, which_<br>_allowed us to facilitate much of the activities_<br>_outside which was ideal given the caution_<br>_being exercised for the purpose of COVID 19_<br>_precautions._<br>_Funders and Partners_<br>_We partnered with Discover Bucks Museum,_<br>_local Town & County Council, local Arts_<br>_Centre and local businesses to jointly carry_<br>_out activities of community engagement of_<br>_minority BAME groups of Indian origin for the_<br>_awareness and education of Hindu arts,_<br>_culture and heritage._<br>_Support from local MP, and organisations_<br>_such as Bhrahmakumaris and Art of Living_<br>_offering meditative practices, insight to the_<br>_many goddesses explaining what they_<br>_represent and recognising ones own_<br>_strengths and weaknesses in order to focus_<br>_on elevating a positive mental outlook and_<br>_self-healing and well-being, practices to_<br>_engage in mental and physical well being_<br>_through Yoga practice for all ages,_<br>_meditation practice in any time of day to_<br>_induce calm and relaxation._<br>_Participants:  an objective to promote social_<br>_integration and acceptance of differences_<br>_between communities also builds bridges_<br>_and understanding between different_<br>_communities_|
