Nursery Committee Meeting – Minutes

## 1. Welcome and Thanks
David Palmer opened the meeting and thanked everyone for attending. He reiterated that there is no pressure to donate to the nursery; contributions are always welcome but not essential.
## 2. Attendees & Introductions (Voting Members)

Danielle Aldoori & partner – child aged 3 attending nursery
Jordon Albrook – child aged 3 attending nursery
Alia Evans – daughter in nursery

Jesse – committee member since 2012
Steven Whiting – grandparent to two children in the nursery
Kirsty
Melissa Thomas – son in nursery (noted the nursery is “thriving since joining”)
Each person present holds one vote as a member.
## 3. Apologies

## 4. Acceptance of Accounts
Accounts confirmed as all up to date.
Accounts accepted by all present with no objections.
## 5. Nursery Numbers Update
Current numbers: 14 children (lower than previous year).
A few further enquiries have been received.
Anticipated increase in numbers from January.
## 6. Election of Trustees
All present were invited to vote.
The vote passed with no objections.
Anyone wishing to become a trustee can request further documentation.
Interested parties to send their details to Darna.
Clarification provided:
General members are not involved in employment or legal matters.
Legal responsibility sits with the trustees.
Fundraising involvement is open to members.
Grants and Local Authority funding require careful oversight by the trustees.
## 7. Membership
All attendees listed above confirmed as members.
## 8. Meeting Format
Meetings can be held either in person or virtually.
It was agreed meetings should not be a mixture of both formats at the same time.
Members to send contact numbers to Elinor to be added to the group.
## 9. AOB (Any Other Business)
Christmas Events:
No Christmas concert this year.
Instead:
## Christmas Raffle (prize donations welcomed)
12th December – Christmas Workshop
17th December – Christmas Party
