Achievements and performance
In September 2024 we completed the floodlil, artfficial grass pitch at
Crossford Bridge Sports Ground, this also included a significant
extension to one of the existing car parks and improvements to two of the
existing changing-rooms bringing them up the standard required by the
Football Foundation.
Summary of the maln
achievements of the charity

This was largely funded by the Football Foundation with support from
Trafford Council, the Crossford Bridge Management Association and
Contributions from Sale United and Old Altrinchamians FC.
The pitch provides substantial benefits both for the resident clubs and
other members of the local Community.
We continue to provide facilities for young and old to take part in sports
activities such as athletics and football. We do this through our member
organizations, which are Sale Harriers, Sale United and Old
Altrinchamians., all these clubs are open to members of the local
community.
We strive to make the88 activities as affordable as possible, thi5 has
enabled the Clubs to provide reduc8d membership in cases of hardship.
We are still waiting to sign a 25-year lease on Crossford Bridge Sports
Ground with Trafford Council. The lease will be subject to a Community
Use Agreement for the site and an agreement that the land will be
registered with Fields in Trust, which will protect this green space for
people to enjoy in perpetuity.
We have continued to provide classroom 8pace and football pitche$ for
the Foolball Academy, l-sports, to provide education to Btec level for
young people in the local communty and they now also benefit from the
use of the artificial grass pitch.

At 31103125 the CBMA had equty of £77,636 in its general fund of which
£25,000 is to ¢over 4 months operational costs in the event of loss of
income or to meet any unforeseen expenditure that may occur and
£20000.00 is for the 3G Reserve Fund to cover costs for the pitch as
agreed with the FA , £32,636.00 is held in reserve for oth8r major
developments.

Our main sources of income are our management fee from Trafford
Council and membership fees from Sale United, Sale Harriers and Old
Altrinchamians and rent from the hire of the 3G pitches.
Other income streams are developed to ke8P the membership fees as
low as possible to enable the Clubs in turn to keep their fees as
affordable as possible.
