**Objects:** THE RELIEF OF PEOPLE IN NEED BY REASON OF LEARNING DISABILITY* IN SCARBOROUGH & DISTRICT AND ITS ENVIRONS, IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF HELP AND SUPPORT FOR THEM AND THEIR FAMILIES, DEPENDENTS AND CARERS TO IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE BY:A) PROMOTING INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFITB) PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES TO PROMOTE PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT, DAILY LIVING SKILLS, HEALTHY LIFESTYLES, RECREATION, SPORT AND LEISURE ACTIVITIESC) PROVIDING RESOURCES FOR SUPPORT AND INFORMATION SERVICES.*A LEARNING DISABILITY IS A REDUCED INTELLECTUAL ABILITY AND DIFFICULTY WITH EVERYDAY ACTIVITIES FOR EXAMPLE HOUSEHOLD TASKS, SOCIALISING OR MANAGING MONEY WHICH AFFECTS SOMEONE FOR THEIR WHOLE LIFE AND MAY BE MILD MODERATE OR SEVERE AND INCLUDE OTHER RELATED CONDITIONS.

**Activities:** We currently provide social and leisure activities for people with a learning disability across daytime, evenings and weekends. Our services operate from our main centre or from other various locations and out in the community. Our services are available to a sector of the public with the protected characteristics of a learning disability. We also take groups out on trips in our minibus
