2. Structure, Governance and Management
The Transforming Church UK is governed by its constitution and managed by its Board of Trustees. The trustees are responsible for setting the strategic direction of the charity, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations, safeguarding the charity’s assets, and ensuring that all activities are carried out in line with the charity’s Christian objects and charitable purposes.
The trustees meet periodically to review the charity’s activities, finances, risk management arrangements, governance matters, safeguarding responsibilities and future plans. Operational delivery is supported by church leaders, ministers, volunteers and ministry teams who assist in the implementation of programmes, services and community activities.
The trustees remain committed to good governance, accountability, transparency and responsible stewardship of the resources entrusted to the charity.
3. Objectives and Activities
The principal objective of The Transforming Church UK is the advancement of the Christian faith for the benefit of the public. This is achieved through Christian worship, prayer, teaching, discipleship, pastoral care, outreach, evangelism, community support and mission-related activities.
During the year, the charity carried out a range of spiritual, pastoral and community-focused programmes designed to strengthen faith, support individuals and families, encourage moral and spiritual growth, and provide opportunities for people to experience Christian fellowship and discipleship.
The trustees confirm that they have had due regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit when planning and reviewing the charity’s activities.
4. Public Benefit Statement
The trustees are satisfied that the activities of The Transforming Church UK provided public benefit during the reporting period. The charity’s programmes were open to members, attendees, visitors and, where applicable, the wider public. Through worship services, prayer meetings, conferences, pastoral care, teaching programmes and mission support, the charity helped individuals to grow spiritually, receive encouragement, build positive relationships, and access a supportive Christian community.

The benefit delivered included spiritual education, emotional encouragement, moral instruction, pastoral support, strengthening of family and community life, and the promotion of Christian values such as love, service, compassion, faith, hope, discipline and personal responsibility.
5. Review of Activities and Achievements
Worship Services, Prayer Meetings and Teaching Programmes
Throughout the year, The Transforming Church UK continued to hold regular Christian worship services, prayer meetings, Bible teaching sessions and discipleship activities. These gatherings provided opportunities for people to worship God, receive biblical teaching, participate in corporate prayer and develop spiritually.
The church’s teaching and worship activities contributed to the spiritual growth of members and attendees, while also creating a welcoming environment for visitors, families and individuals seeking Christian fellowship.
Prophetic Prayer Conference
One of the major highlights of the year was the Prophetic Prayer Conference, a Christian worship and prayer Conference which attracted over 1,200 participants (within and outside the United Kingdom). The conference brought together individuals and families for a time of worship, prayer, biblical exhortation, spiritual renewal and encouragement.
The event served as a significant platform for Christian fellowship, intercession and spiritual strengthening. Participants engaged in worship, prayer sessions and ministry activities aimed at inspiring faith, deepening spiritual awareness and encouraging personal transformation.
The trustees consider the Prophetic Prayer Conference to have been one of the charity’s major public benefit activities during the year, given its scale, reach and spiritual impact.
Pastoral Care and Spiritual Support
The charity continued to provide pastoral care and support to members, attendees and individuals within the wider church community. This included prayer support, pastoral conversations, encouragement for families, support during difficult seasons, and guidance rooted in Christian principles.
The pastoral ministry of the church remains central to its charitable purpose, particularly in helping individuals navigate life challenges with faith, hope and spiritual resilience.
Outreach, Evangelism and Community Engagement
The Transforming Church UK continued to engage in outreach and evangelistic activities aimed at sharing the Christian faith and inviting people into a supportive community of worship and discipleship.
The church encouraged members to invite friends, family members and others to participate in worship services, prayer gatherings and special programmes. These activities helped extend the charity’s reach and created opportunities for people from different backgrounds to benefit from Christian teaching, prayer and fellowship.
Mission Support
During the year, the charity also supported mission work in the United States of America, contributing to Christian mission initiatives focused on training, equipping and strengthening Christians for ministry and service.
This support reflected the charity’s wider commitment to the advancement of the Christian faith beyond its immediate local setting. By supporting mission work that trains and equips believers, The Transforming Church UK contributed to the development of Christian leadership, discipleship and ministry capacity in another region.

The trustees recognise mission support as an important part of the church’s charitable activity, provided it remains aligned with the charity’s Christian objects and is undertaken with appropriate oversight, accountability and stewardship.
6. Volunteers
The trustees wish to acknowledge the invaluable contribution of over 124 volunteers who served faithfully across the charity’s programmes and activities. Volunteers supported worship services, prayer meetings, conferences, hospitality, administration, media, logistics, children and family activities, and other ministry functions.
The work of the charity would not have been possible without the commitment, sacrifice and dedication of its volunteers. Their service helped the charity deliver its programmes effectively and extend its reach to members, visitors and the wider public.
7. Financial Review
During the year, the charity received income primarily through donations, offerings, gifts and other voluntary contributions. These funds were applied towards the delivery of the charity’s activities, including worship services, conferences, pastoral support, operational costs, outreach, mission support and administrative expenses.
The trustees exercised care in the management of the charity’s resources and sought to ensure that funds were used in furtherance of the charity’s objects.
The trustees remain committed to maintaining proper financial records, ensuring transparency in the use of charitable funds, and applying resources responsibly to support the charity’s mission.
8. Reserves Policy
The trustees aim to maintain an appropriate level of reserves to ensure the continuity of the charity’s activities, meet ongoing operational commitments, and respond to unforeseen needs or opportunities.
The reserves policy is reviewed periodically by the trustees, taking into account the size of the charity, its regular commitments, planned activities, and the need to ensure financial stability.
At the end of the reporting period, the charity held reserves as reported in the Annual returns. The trustees consider this level of reserves to need strengthening considering the charity’s current and planned activities.
9. Risk Management
The trustees have considered the major risks to which the charity may be exposed and continue to review arrangements for managing those risks. Key areas of consideration include financial sustainability, safeguarding, health and safety, governance, volunteer management, event planning, reputational risk and regulatory compliance.
For larger events such as the Prophetic Prayer Conference, the charity sought to ensure that appropriate planning, coordination and oversight were in place to support safe and effective delivery.
The trustees will continue to strengthen policies, procedures and internal controls as the charity grows.
10. Safeguarding
The Transforming Church UK recognises the importance of safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults. The trustees are committed to ensuring that the charity provides a safe environment for worship, fellowship, ministry and community participation.

The charity seeks to ensure that safeguarding responsibilities are understood by leaders, workers and volunteers, and that appropriate procedures are followed where concerns arise.
11. Plans for the Future
Looking ahead, the trustees intend to continue strengthening the charity’s programmes and expanding its impact through worship, prayer, teaching, discipleship, pastoral care, outreach and mission support.
Key priorities for the coming year include strengthening regular worship, prayer and discipleship programmes; developing more structured pastoral care and family support activities; improving volunteer training and ministry coordination; expanding outreach and evangelistic activities; strengthening governance, safeguarding and financial management systems; continuing to support mission initiatives that align with the charity’s Christian objectives; and building on the success of major events such as the Prophetic Prayer Conference.
The trustees are grateful for the continued support of members, volunteers, donors, leaders, ministers and partners who have contributed to the work of The Transforming Church UK.
12. Trustees’ Responsibilities Statement
The trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees’ Annual Report and the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and regulations.
The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records, safeguarding the assets of the charity, taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities, and ensuring that the charity’s funds are applied in accordance with its charitable purposes.
