Audiences for these events benefitted from being able to listen to, and pa￿'cIpate in, live choral music of a high Standard, wilh tickets available at accessible prices {however, the service of Nine Lessons and Carols is always free}. Activities during ihe year had added to Ihe choir's funds by £4,731 and the bustees conslder that the choir is in a good Position financially to fulfil its aims and objectives for the comin season. The choir has a policy of holding reserves equivalent to 12 months concert plus fixed overhead costs. This represents mitigation of the costs of putting on concerts even wilh no concert income. Some reserves are 81so held for specffjc purposes (designated funds} for which future expenditure is antici ated.
