I have reviewed the financial information of Du Alumni Association UK which comprises the Income and Expenditure Account and Balance Sheet for the period from 16 March 2024 to15 March 2025 from the accounting records and information and explanations you (Trustees) have given to me. You have approved the financial information for the year ended 15 March 2025 and have acknowledged your responsibility for it, for the appropriateness of the accounting basis and for providing all information and explanations necessary for its compilation.
## **Respective responsibilities of Trustee and Independent Examiner:**
As explained more fully in the Statement of Trustees’ Responsibilities, the trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts and for being satisfied that they give a true and fair view. ## **1 Accounting policies**
## _**Basis of preparation**_
The financial statements have been prepared in compliance with FRS 102. ‘The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and the Republic of Ireland’, the Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and the Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (Charities SORP (FRS 102) and the Charities Act 2011.
