Trustee’s Annual Report 

May 2021 - December 2021 

The Charity “You Matter” was set up on 20 May 2021 with the vision of opening a charity shop to meet the needs of the local community in the Meridan area of Watford. 

In October 2021 a premises was obtained, which was subsequently fitted out for retail, including the provision of a Hub ‘Chat Space’ for those in need of support. 

All works were completed by December 2021 and the shop was ready to open its doors to the community in January 2022. 

To finance the project, You Matter obtained a loan from the Trustees. 

No income or donations was realised for the 7months to December 2021 due to the building and maintenance work required to commence the project.
