The North Northants First Responder5 was ristered as a charitywrth the Charity Commission
on 20 May 2021 underthe registered charwty number 1194543.
Objertives
l.To provide thined first response volunteers to attend medical emergencies as direrted by the Eatt
Midlands Ambulance Service prior to the arridI of a fast response vehide or ambulan.
2.To educate the general public by providing training in basic lrfe support.
3.To the provtsion and maintenance of communtty funded defibrillators.
4.To provide first aid cover at local community events and to increasinE Our profile in order to create
additional opportunities for life saving trèinin&
5. To the provision of community bleed kits. working with lotal organisations and community
groups.

Financial report for the year
The trustees were pleased wth the qual¢ty ar the extent of the fund raising activities this year.
The financial activities resulted in a surplus of income over txpenditure for the year of £19,018
12020 £5691.
The net assets at the year end amounted to £22.483 (2020 £3,465).
The trustees are of the opinion that the objectives and the artivbties of the charity have been
effertively carried out this year.

## **Accounting policies**
## **1. Accounting convention**
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
## 2. **Incoming resources and expenditure**
All incoming resources are included in the statement of income and expenditure, when the charity is legally entitled to the income and the amount can be quantified with reasonable accuracy.
Expenditure is accounted for on an accruals basis and has been classified under headings that aggregate all costs relating to the category.
## 3. **Taxation**
The charity is exempt from tax on charitable activities.
## **4. Fund accounting**
Unrestricted funds can be used in accordance with the charitable objectives at the discretion of the trustees.
## **5.Depreciation**
Depreciation is calculated to write off each tangible fixed asset over its expected useful life by annual instalments , applied on the reducing balance basis.
## **6. Going Concern**
At the time of approving the financial statements the Trustees have a reasonable expectation that the charity has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Thus the Trustees continue to adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the financial statements.
