The unit is physically integrated within a newly built school but has complete independence managed by staff and overviewed by a group of Trustees. The purpose of the pre-school education is to deliver an understanding of the Welsh Language before the children enter mainstream education. March **2012** **TAR** 3 ## Section D Achievements and performance **Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** Cylch Meithrin Pum Heol was reopened in September 2023 as there was a local need for provision in the community. Cylch has since been opened and successfully run during the last 12 months where numbers have grown, and additional days have been included allowing the playschool to flourish within the community. The Cylch provides a Welsh provision for preschool children which allows them to have early access to Ysgol Pum Heol. We look forward to continuing to grow and to support the needs of the local community.
