**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO IS THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESERVATION OF HEALTH, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF PERSONS LIVING IN THE HIMALAYAS, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OF HEALTHCARE FACILITIES AND HEALTH EDUCATION PARTICULARLY WITH REGARDS TO PREVENTION OF DISEASES, BETTER NUTRITION AND HYGIENE.

**Activities:** To promote and preserve the health of the general public in economically disadvantaged areas of theworld, particularly in the Himalayas(initially the Indian Himalayan Region). This will be done by assisting inthe provision of facilities and support services at no cost to the locality.Raise the education level of the public in health matters by providing workshops, written materials & seminars
