## Notes on the accounts.

## **Income:**

We had monies transferred from Music at St Mary’s which included a Grant from Feast of £400 so we began the accounts with £700 and then also received a Council grant of £750

Concerts income was from pre booking via the Minack which incurred fees of £432 and sales on the door. We gave generous discounts for block booking in advance.

## **Expenditure:**

Annually we have to pay public liability insurance and we are members of Making Music. We hope to reduce insurance costs with MM. They also do our PRS return

This year we spent some of our grant monies on recording concerts. We paid Dave Hancock and Kate for operating the equipment. We had hoped to use clips as advertising and to put it online with a donation button. This has yet to happen

Concert costs show very little expenditure on advertising (two payments for printing to RV.) Our poster art work , used on posters and social media, was given free as was a lot of printing.

The PRS figure may change once MM submit our information to PRS but this is the current charge calculated

Making Music appears twice as we had a half year membership but have had to pay the coming years before the end of December.

Concert income was 2825 Costs were 1937 plus apportioned insurance 102 2087

**Balance from concert series £786**
